Laura Lee (Bryant) Smith

Laura Lee Smith, 82, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a loving and devoted mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to southern gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lee Smith;  Her sons: Bobby, John, and Jack Smith;  Her sister, Edna Billions; Her brothers: Buddy and BG Bryant.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita (Donny) Donovan;  Her son,  Danny Lee Smith;  Special neighbor and friend, Andrea Evans; Six grandchildren: Jennifer, Jordan, Shannon, Lance, Bradley, and Matthew; Ten great-grandchildren: Kendall, Jake, Carrie, Kellie, Sunnie, Raegan, Kaylin, Logan, Taylor, and Grayson; One great-great-grandchild,  Emma;  Her sister, Jo Ann Brooks;  Her brother:  John Bryant;   Mrs. Smith is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Monday at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Eddie Clardy officiating.   Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
