Leamon Sparks

Mr. Leamon Sparks, 90, of Hazel Green, passed away at Huntsville Hospital on Thursday morning.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Willa Dean Sparks;  His parents, Dillion & Viola Sparks; His brothers, Buford, Nolan, and Paul Sparks, and by two sisters, Pauline Stafford and Ruby Phillips.

He is survived by his children, Denis (Jennifer) Sparks, Regina (Jeff) McMinn, Teresa (Danny) Ratley, Pam (Steve) Poole, and Mark (Pam) Sparks;  His grandchildren: Tabitha Anderson, Janet Poole, Nathaniel Sparks, Jason McMinn, Brandy Fletcher, Shawn Ratley, Alisha Atchley, Mandy Keene, Tyler McMinn, and Thomas Sparks.  He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, his brother, Kenneth Sparks, and his sister, Stella Lewis.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11am to 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with Bro. Rodney Turner officiating.  Burial will be in New Sharon Cemetery.
