Mrs. Leara Mae (Boots) Shockley Jean, age 83, passed away on May 31, 2017 in Lincoln County.

Mrs. Jean was the daughter of the late Robert Elmer and Hettie Bea Paseur, and was a member of Corders Crossroad Church of Christ.  She is preceded in death by her first husband, Odis Shockley and her second husband, Clyde Edward Jean, step-son Jeff Jean, sisters Ruby Dowdy, Margie Cooper, and Vivian Lones; brothers  Henry Paseur, Pete Paseur, and Ferrel Wayne Paseur.

Survivors include her children Ricky (Kathy) Shockley, Mark (Donna) Shockley and Rhonda (Randy) Decker .

Grandchildren Nikki Shockley, Daniel (Terra) Shockley, Adam (Lorin) Decker, and Morgan Decker. Great grandchildren Blake and Evy Shockley and Claire Decker.

Surviving Sisters Sue Marino, Janie Bea Reed, and brothers Ellie Hugh Paseur, James Oliver Paseur, and Eddie Paseur.

Stepchildren Kenny (Brenda) Jean, Stan (Linda) Jean, Diane (Danny) Campbell, Donald Jean,  Ronald (Debra) Jean, Jimmy (Rhonda) Jean.  Step daughter-in-law, Kathy Jean.

18 step-grandchildren & 22 step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5-8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday at 11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Stateline Cemetery.
