Linda (Brooks) Hall

Linda Brooks Hall, 68, of New Market, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning while surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was the office manager for a local recycling company for twenty-seven years.   She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  She enjoyed Alabama football, traveling on the back of her husband's Harley with friends, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.   Linda was a Christian and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, A.W. "Dub" Brooks, and by her baby brother, Roger Brooks.

Surviving family members include her husband of 19 years, Shelby "Pete" Hall;  Her daughter, Kathy Gilliam and her husband, Kevin;  Her daughter, Kristy White and her husband, Shannon;  Her grandchildren: Morgan & Jason Joiner, Luke Perry, Taylor Gilliam, Kolie Gilliam, Sloan White, and Mary Alice White;  Her mother, Edith Ray Brooks; Her brother, Randy Brooks and his wife, Jan;  Her nephew, Dan Brooks and his wife, Hillary and their children, Dylan and Blake.

. Her brothers-in-law: T.J. Campbell, Ed Alban, Jimmy Hall (Cindy) of Atlanta, GA, and Kenneth Hall.

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.   A private graveside service will be held at Concord Cemetery with Rev. Lamar McGriff officiating.

The family wishes to thank Huntsville Hospital's Hospice Family Care and Clearview Cancer Institute for their loving care.
