Wanda MaplesMay 16, 1945 ~ July 24, 2010Mrs. Wanda Maples, 65, of Huntsville, Alabama died Saturday at her residence. Mrs. Maples was retired from Wal-Mart and Sams Club in Huntsville, Alabama. She is survived by her husband, William A. (Albert) Maples, Sr.; four sons, Danny Ray Hudson, Wesley Jean Hudson, William A. Maples, Jr. and Kenneth W. Maples all of Huntsville, Alabama; one step-daughter, Cynthia Gay Leopold of Hazel Green, Alabama; two step-sons, Joey Maples and Johnny Maples; daughter-in-laws, Ann Maples and Sammy Hudson; son-in-law, Bill Leopold and several more step-children; four grandsons and several step-grandchildren; three brothers, James Arthur Smith of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Ronnie Smith of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Phillip Smith of New Market, Alabama; four sisters, Lela Holder of Flintville, Tennessee, Fay Bankston of Ardmore, Alabama, Diane Swinford of New Market, Alabama, and Amanda Hobbs of Hazel Green, Alabama. Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ed Smith and two brothers, Ray and Jerry Smith. Visitation is Saturday 11:30 to 12:30 at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday at 1 pm at Concord Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
