Lorene WalkerAugust 14, 1917 ~ December 12, 2010Lorene Walker, of the Walnut Grove Community, New Market Al, known to her family and friends as "Mama Rene", died Sunday, at the Donaldson Care Center, Fayetteville Tn. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Walker, and by four sisters and one brother. She is survived by one sister and two Daughters, Linda Merrell, Judy Kempaner, three sons Donald, Buster and Rex Walker; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home with Brother Bill Phillips of Union Grove Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at the Concord Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour before the service.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations. may be made to any children's home.Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
