Louis Edgar Shockley

Funeral services for Louis Edgar Shockley age 95 of Hazel Green will be conducted Friday 1:30 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Eads officiating and burial will follow in Charity Cemetery. Mr. Shockley passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was raised and lived all of his life in Madison County and had retired from Martin Stove Company.  Mr. Shockley was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Davis Shockley and Jodie Lee Ashworth Shockley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 74 years, Violet Shockley, his grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson and Keyley McPherson, one sister, Sara Frees, one brother, Dean Shockley, several nieces and nephews and a host of loving family members and friends. Pallbearers will be David Frees, Jim Frees, Mark Frees, Steve Shockley, Joe Davis and Ricky Tillman.

Visitation will be Friday 11:30 until 1:30 at Hazel Green Funeral Home
