She was a dedicated wife and mother and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Edward Gowen Mitchell. Her daughter, Kim Posey. Her son, Paul Edward Mitchell. Her sister, Becky Burnett. Her brothers, David and Robert Turner, and her grandchildren, Paul Mitchell, Trevor Boyett, Misty Boyett, and Lukas Posey. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will follow in Murphy Hill Cemetery. Visit
