Margaret P (White) Owens
March 17, 1946 — November 7, 2015
Margaret P. Owens, 69, of New Market, Alabama, passed away on Saturday morning at her residence.
She was a kind and sweet person who loved others and was always willing to serve others. She was a dedicated and loving mother, and was a faithful member of the Huntland Pentecostal Church of Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Ozell White; Her brothers: Herman & James White; Her sisters: Dorothy Mason, Vivian Smithey, Linda Carter, Eva Mae Dake, Deborah Kimbrough, & Carolyn Blankenship.
Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, Edward Owens; Her four children: Eddie Owens and his wife, Reba McCaleb, Charlotte Wiseman and her husband, Ricky, Pamela Warren, and Daphne McNeal and her husband, Terry. Five grandchildren: Jamie McNeal, Daylan Warren, Erica Jaco and her husband, Jonathan, Taylor Owens, & Brittany McNeal; Her great-grandchildren: Aubrie Ragsdale & Kaylynn Warren. Her brother, Danny White, and her sisters: Barbara Brown, Mary Campbell, Shirley Sampayo, and Georgia Faye Brand.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Gardner and Rev. Mitchell Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery.
