Margaret Sorden
March 10, 1932 — April 1, 2021
Margaret Sorden, of Hazel Green, passed away on April 1, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Frances Brown, and a son, David Harold Sorden.
Ms. Sorden is survived by her children: Patty Sorden Beesley, Linda Sorden Ellis, Edward Dennis Sorden, James Edward Sorden, William Francis Sorden, and John Michael (Billie Sue) Sorden; 14 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
She was a long-standing member of Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church; was honorably discharged from the US Army, retired from SCI Huntsville and was a proud Goldstar mother.
Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be: John Michael Sorden, William Francis Sorden, Edward Dennis Sorden, James Edward Sorden, Riley Matthew Sorden, David Raymond Beesley, Steven James Sorden, Tyler Michael Atchley and James Calvin Ellis.
There will be a public visitation on Wednesday, April 7, from 6:00 – 8:00 at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Rosary service will begin at 11:30, Thursday, April 8, followed by a Funeral Mass, at 12:00 at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church.
