Marguerite Davis

Mrs. Marguerite Davis, age 96, of New Market passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening while surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Davis worked at PR Mallory for 21 years. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for more than 80 years.

Preceded in death by her parents Burt and Easter Williams Danner,  husband, Claude K Davis, her son, JK Davis and her son-in-law Terry Blair, 5 sisters, Pauline Knox, Joline Sanders, Mildred Snoddy, Inez Bailey, Signa Danner and 3 brothers, JB Danner, B.C. Danner and Leonard Danner.

She is survived by her daughter Elsie Davis Blair, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016, from 11am to 1pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Graveside funeral services will follow at 2pm at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in New Market.
