Mark David "Cotton" BirdsongOctober 19, 1957 ~ November 7, 2010Mark "Cotton" Birdsong, 53, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away Sunday at his home. Mr. Birdsong was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Junior Birdsong and Shirley Lucille Laster. He is survived by his wife, Annette Birdsong; son, Kasey Lee Birdsong; two brothers, Micah Adam Birdsong and Martin Allen Birdsong; three sisters, Angela Robin Birdsong, Robin Evelyn Birdsong and Bobbie Jo Birdsong; one grandchild, Ella Ann Birdsong. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday with a memorial service following at 7 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Stone officiating. Interment will be Friday at 3 pm with immediate family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Redstone Federal Credit Union Bank to the name of Mark and Carol Birdsong.
