Martha (Hunter) Tipton

Martha Hunter Tipton of New Market passed away on Friday at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was a Christian and a member of the Hazel Green Church of God of Prophecy.   She had retired from Madison County Schools where she worked at Hazel Green Elementary School as a Physical Education Aide.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby & Sally Hunter;  Her sister, Marilyn Hunter Rutledge;  Her sister, Jane Hunter Echols.

Surviving family members include her husband, Ricky Tipton;  Her son, Brent Tipton;  Her daughter, Kellee Tipton; Her grandchildren: Hunter Garrison, Breze Tipton, Luke Kilgore, and Bo Tipton;  Her five great-grandchildren;  Her two nephews, Shelby Hunter and Tommy Ralston.

There will be a graveside service on Monday at 3pm at Concord Cemetery with Brother Phil Holcomb officiating.
