Mary Virginia Bumgardner

Funeral services for Mary Virginia "Jennie" Bumgardner, 71, of Fayetteville will be held Monday 11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Wesley Jones officiating and burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Mrs. Bumgardner passed away Friday at her residence. She was a member of Oakley Baptist Church and she loved flowers and working in her flower garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Roy Jacks and Mary Jones Jacks, her brothers-in-law, Jerry “Jady” Campbell and Stanley "Coke" Bumgardner.

Jennie had a wonderful outlook on life, displaying a wide warm smile and always carrying with her a positive attitude. Those who knew her, knew the deep love she had for her fur babies, her puppies, Gizzy, Rouser, Elmo, Tater and now Dudley.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Bumgardner, one sister, Willa Dean Campbell, one brother, James and his wife, Audrey Jacks, several nieces and nephews and a host of loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday morning 10-11 AM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be, George Campbell, James Jacks, Jeff Jackson, Wesley Jones and Will Worcester. Honorary pallbearers will be, Steven Bumgardner, Jamie Jacks and Jimmy Jacks.
