Mary (Clark) Schmidt
September 14, 1945 — June 16, 2017
Mary Clark Schmidt, 71, of Huntsville, originally from the New Market/Riverton Community, passed away on Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Gene Schmidt Sr, her son, Roger Gene Schmidt Jr, her siblings: Erma Lee Bradford, Ella Mae Nelson, Charles Wayne Clark, Billy Ray Clark, and John R. Clark Jr; Her parents, John R. Clark Sr and Lois E. Fitch Clark.
Surviving family members include her children: Arthur Schmidt and his wife, Cathi and Marla Byrd and her husband, Richard; Her sister, Janice Norman; Her grandchildren: Roger G. Schmidt III, Tiffany A. Schmidt, Rebbecca Paige Schmidt Pate, Andrew Dylan Schmidt, Erik C. Byrd, Alex N. Byrd, and Bret A. Byrd; One great-grandchild, Sawyer Pate.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
