Melba Ramey Rickard
November 20, 1938 — February 27, 2021
Melba Ramey Rickard, 82, of Sidney, Ohio, passed away on Saturday. She was born and raised in Walker County, Alabama, and had lived in Hazel Green, Huntsville, and Guntersville, Alabama. She was a loving mother who loved the Lord, her family and friends, flowers and all thing green, birds, and had a special affinity for owls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rickard and by her daughter, Carol Rickard.
Surviving family members include her sons, Wayne Rickard and Ray Rickard; Her sisters, Dale Akers and Sue Crumpton; Her grandchildren: Micah Rickard, Beth Rickard, and Sarah Rickard.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery in New Market, Alabama.
