Michael D. Hudson

Mr. Michael D. "Mike" Hudson, 62, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Hudson was born in Huntsville and grew up in the Hazel Green area and was a 1973 graduate of Hazel Green High School.  He was employed by Amana/Goodman Manufacturing in Fayetteville since May of 1973.   Mike was a Christian and a member of Harmony Hill Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents:  Oscar W. & Lela Mae Whitfield Hudson and Pell N. & Tommie Teague Davis;  His father-in-law, Thomas E. Davis, his brother-in-law, Danny Davis, and his grandparents-in-law, Charlie E. & Allie Davis, and Hallie B. Smith.

Surviving family members include his wife of 36 years, Jeannie D. Hudson;  His son, Timothy B. Hudson;  His daughter, Heather L. Hudson Campbell;  His grandchildren: Colton D. Campbell, Tristan X. Hudson, and Isabella G. Hudson; His parents: Gordon & Imogene Hudson;  His brothers: Mark D. (Janet) Hudson & Tracy D. (Victoria Clendenon) Hudson.  He is also survived by aunts, an uncle, and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Don Hackney and Rev. Ennis Hyman officiating.  Burial will follow the service and will be in Taylor Cemetery.
