Michael Hugh Patrick

Michael “Mike” Hugh Patrick, age 46, of Taft, Tenn., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Huntsville, Alabama Hospital.  He was born December 17, 1968 in Bristol, Tennessee.  He was a welder for Schwarze Industries in Huntsville, Alabama for nearly 15 years.  He was a 1987 graduate of Sullivan East High School, and was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Mike was preceded in death by his father Billy Joe Patrick and son Eric Patrick.  He is survived by his mother Margaret Elizabeth Vance Patrick; sons Joey and Jessie Patrick; granddaughter Chloe Patrick; sisters, Sharon Garside and husband Russell, Jan Sexton, and twin sister Lisa Ketron and husband Jeff; three nephews and one niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 4 pm to 6 pm prior to the service. A funeral service will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Rowlette officiating. The burial will be 1:45 pm Thursday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard.  Pallbearers will be brothers-in-law and nephews.
