Michael "Buddy" Shook

Michael "Buddy" Shook, 61, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday.

Mr. Shook was a 1972 graduate of Sparkman High School and then served proudly in the United States Marines.   He loved his parents, his brothers and sisters, and especially his two sons and his grandchildren.  He was dedicated in his career as an iron worker and was known as a hard worker.   Michael was also a Christian and had a relationship with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Evelyn Shook and by his sister, Sheila Shook Bowen.

He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life with military honors will follow at 4pm at the funeral home.
