Mickey Joe Neeley

Mr. Mickey Joe Neeley, 71, of Harvest, AL went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Katrina Bailey Neeley, stepdaughter Christy Fox, sister Edith (Tann) Neeley Scott, brothers Walter R.  Neeley (Wilma) and Tracee Baddley (Julie), grandson Damien Reynolds, granddaughter Page Fox, great grandchildren Bailey Hazel Reynolds and Summer Olivia Reynolds, numerous nieces and nephews  and a large group of family and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Omie Lee Baker Neeley and Gordon Elonzo Neeley, his sisters, Sandra Woodfin and Betty Loda (Dominico), and a brother, Jimmy Neeley (Patsy). Mickey was a well-known gospel singer. His great love was sharing gospel music and helping other singers. Although blind, he owned and operated Neeley Vending Company for 30 years. Mickey had friends all over the United States. He was a kind and giving person who never met a stranger, generous to a fault and a loving family man. Family was everything to Mickey, particularly his wife Katrina, who was the love of his life. He was a true friend to all and a role model for overcoming the challenges life threw at him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In accordance with Mickey’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
