Monica Hicks

Monica Hicks, 29, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on Saturday. She enjoyed camping and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Hicks; By her sister, Jamie Hicks; By her grandmother, Doris Brown; By her grandfather, J.D. Hicks.
Surviving family members include her children: Baronica Gaines, James Gaines, Kasyn Sullivan, and Tyler Hicks; Her father, Richard Hicks; Her sister, Tori (James) Perrin; Her brother, Jonathon (Melissa) Hicks; Her nieces, Makayla Hicks, Madyson Hicks, Lacey Perrin and Jaycee Perrin; Her grandmother, Yvonne Hicks. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Don Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery on Stateline Road in Ardmore, Alabama.
