Mr Cecil Frederick Mcneal

Cecil "Mac" McNeal, 92, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening surrounded by his family.
Mr. McNeal was a member of the Plainview Church of Christ and had owned and operated McNeal's Grocery and Meats in Hazel Green for over 50 years until his retirement in 1997. He was loved and respected by the people of the community that he served.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy McNeal, and by three brothers, Franklin, Earl, and Charles McNeal.
He is survived by his children: Larry (Nancy) McNeal, Becky (Billy) Whitt, and David McNeal; 12 Grandchildren, 16, Great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; His brothers and sisters: A.J. McNeal, Eunice Campbell, Dupree McNeal, and Jean McNeal.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 until 9pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with burial following Stateline Cemetery.
The family would like to express special appreciation to Hospice Family Care, Teresa Tucker, Connie Luna, and Jean McNeal who all provided special care to Mr. McNeal during his illness.
