Mr. Glenn Allen
September 12, 1937 — May 30, 2013
Glenn Allen, 75, of Hazel Green, passed away Thursday night.
He was preceded in death by his mother Eunice Allen, his brother, Henry Mac Hanvey, and his son, Greg Allen.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Janet Allen; five sons: Patrick Allen and wife Amy, Barry Allen and wife Tracie, Steve Allen and wife Donna, Robert Brand and wife Sherri, Steven Mason and wife Vicki; two sisters: Cheryl Hughes and Shelby Strickland; 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor Eva Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank the Hospice of North Alabama team including: Chris, Alisha, and Tammy. They would also like to give a special thanks to Glenn's physician, Dr. Phillip Roth, for the personal care he provided.
