Mr. Johnny Virgil Underwood
June 20, 1929 — February 25, 2015
Johnny Virgil Underwood, 85, of New Market, died Wednesday at his residence.
Mr. Underwood is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Taylor Underwood, his children, Gayle and Arnold Poole, Belinda and Glenn Quick and Dayle Underwood,his grandchildren, Dana Shields, Terri Davis, Chuck Quick, Bobby Jo Underwood, Kasey Rosales and Julia Underwood, his great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jon Shields, Taylor Carriger, Rylee Bunn, Cody Moyers, Brock Davis, Dawson and Payton Quick, Taylor Ray and Breanna Underwood, Madison and Montanna Lowe and Mekhi and Nileah Underwood,his great-great grandchildren, Waylon and Nolan Moyers, two sisters, Midge Walls and Delores Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Virgil "Chunk" and Pearl Underwood, two brothers, Charles and Kenneth Underwood, one sister, Billie Underwood and one grandchild, Laura Carriger Bunn, Mr. Underwood was retired from the Madison County Commission District One after over thirty years of service.
