Mr. Phillip W. Jones, 62, of Hazel Green, Alabama, died on Saturday.
Mr. Jones was born July 5, 1951 in Madison County, was a 1969 graduate of Hazel Green High School, and was a proud alumnus of the University of Alabama class of 1974.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Annie Turner Jones, by his sister, Patsy Jones Jean, and by an infant brother, Thomas Allen Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Trousdale Jones; Two nieces: Kathie Jean and Linda (Larry) Dumont; Nephew: Jimmy (Sherry) Jean; Great-niece: Nicki Jean; Five Great-nephews: Joshua Jean, Nathan Dumont, Daniel Dumont, J.D. Jean, and Jason Smart.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday beginning at Noon at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2pm.
