Mrs. Eleanor "Penny" Haley
January 2, 1942 — November 5, 2014
Eleanor "Penny" Haley, 72, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always had a smile on her face and a kind word to share.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Haley; Her son, Don Haley and his wife, Angie; Her daughter, Karen Schumann and her husband, Robert; Four grandchildren: Madison Haley, Haley Schumann, Matthew Haley, and John Schumann; Her brother, Don Leffew; Her sisters, Judy Ballard, Sandy Phillips, and Cindy Leffew;
Mrs. Haley was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mary Etta Leffew.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10am at Hazel Green United Methodist Church. A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Hearn Hill Cemetery in Watertown, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Manna House of Huntsville; 2110 Memorial Parkway SW; Huntsville, AL 35801 or to the charity of your choice.
