Mr T.A. Williams

Mr. Thomas A Williams, "TA", 90, of Hazel Green passed away on Sunday Evening with family at his side. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and Song Director for many years. Mr. Williams was a retired farmer and active in the community and had served on the Board for The Madison County CO-OP, Alabama Farm Bureau Federation, The Madison County Farmers Market and The Alabama Board of Agricultural and Industry. He was a Veteran of the US NAVY.
TA loved spending time with his family and friends, being active in his church and the community. He was active in politics and had a passion for music, helping those in need in the community and fellowship with his Church family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Bernice Williams of 69 years, his son Thomas Don Williams and wife Gena, his granddaughter, Dana Williams. One Sister; Hazel King; Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his very special grandson, Don Allan Williams, his parents, William A Williams and Martha Gonder Williams, one brother Lawrence Williams and one sister Grace Campbell.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday Evening from 5-8 p.m., funeral service will be Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Lon Ostrzycki and Steve Ostrzycki officiating. Burial will follow at Charity Cemetery.
