Mr. Willard Wayne Edwards
April 21, 1937 — September 29, 2014
Mr. Willard W. Edwards, 77, of New Market passed away on Monday at a local hospital.
Mr. Edwards had worked for Ashburn & Gray Construction and for the City of Huntsville as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed the outdoors where he loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He also loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorene Damron Edwards and a grandson, James David Edwards.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his children: David Edwards, Jimmy Edwards, Thomas (Kay) Edwards, Angela Billions, and Jeff (Tara) Edwards; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Brad Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Rice Cemetery.
