Mr. Willard Hunter
October 24, 1933 — December 7, 2014
Mr. Willard Hunter, 81, of Hazel Green, passed away on Sunday. He was a life-long farmer, a devoted grandfather to his four grandchildren, and an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Elvie and Bertha Hunter; Brothers, Cecil, Homer, Billy, and Albert Hunter; His sister, Evelyn "Josie" Layne.
Survivors include: His wife of 44 years, Judy Hunter; His son and daughter-in-law, Elvie and Tamara Hunter; His daughter and son-in-law, Star and Jim Luna; His four grandchildren: Colton and Malayna Hunter and Ava and Noah Luna.
He is also survived by his brother, Collins "Tooter" Hunter and his sisters: Pauline Campbell, Gwen Potter, and Linda Sibley, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery.
