Muriel Campbell Warden, 86, of the Walnut Grove Community, went to be with the Lord on Monday afternoon while at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Warden was a homemaker who raised her children to love the Lord, and was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church in Lincoln County, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Rev. Dalton Warden; Her son-in-law, Melvin Douglas; Her granddaughter, Catherine Rogers, and her parents, Terry and Jenny Campbell.
Survivors include her sister, Delevane Boyette; Her children Dianne Douglas, Janie (Buddy) Simmons, Connie Mason, Ramona (Ronald) Rogers, Donna (David) Warren, and Bruce (Carla) Warden. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great- great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5 to 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 2pm at the funeral home with burial following in Taylor Cemetery. Bro. Cleo Moon, Bro. Marine Smith, Bro. Eddie Graves, and Bro. Williard Medley officiating.
