Naomi Magdalene (Glenn) Estes

Naomi Magdalene Glenn Estes passed from this world to the arms of Jesus at 11:30 AM June 7, 2024 at her home in Barnesville, GA. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to a multitude of people. She married Conrad R. Estes on March 8, 1947 and was his devoted wife until his death 66 years later.

She received the Holy Ghost September 24, 1944 at her home in the old Lincoln Village Huntsville, Alabama and lived for the Lord 79 years. During her life she was a member of Bierne Avenue, Elkwood, Villa Rica, McDonough, Rocky Branch, And Noah’s Ark Free Holiness Churches. She loved to work for the Lord and would usually be one of the first to testify.

She is preceded in death by her husband Conrad R. Estes, her father John A. Glenn, her mother Zeda Mae Simpson Glenn Lewis, her sisters Frances Rogers, Juanita Mason, Evelyn Beasley, her brothers Charles Glenn and Thomas Glenn.

She is survived by her sister Loretta Campbell; her children: Royce E. Estes (Pat), Glen D. Estes (Paulette), Brenda J. Motes (Randall), Peggy A. Hathcock (Jim), and Linda D. Gay (Marty), 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Elkwood Free Holiness Church 2704 Scott Rd, Hazel Green, AL 35750 on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM CST for family, and 5:00 PM to 8:00 CST PM for friends.

The funeral service will be held at Elkwood Free Holiness Church at 1:00 PM CST on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, with Brothers James Bridges, Bobby House and Michael Pritchett presiding. The family will begin receiving friends two hours prior to the funeral service.

She will be laid to rest next to “Conard” at the Brooklyn Cemetery, Cullman County, Holly Pond, AL.
