Naomi Walls
August 6, 1931 — May 10, 2014
Ms. Naomi Walls, 82, of Hazel Green, passed away on Saturday at a local hospital.
She was born in Pennsylvania to Wheeler W. & Eleanore (Briese) Buff in 1931.
After marrying the love of her life in 1949, they eventually moved from California to Chattanooga, Tennessee and then to Madison County, Alabama where they raised their eight children.
Ms. Walls was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Walls Sr. who passed away on May 23, 2006, and by her sister, Ruth Whitebread.
She is survived by her eight children: George D. Walls Jr., Gina D. Walls, Gerry D. Walls, Glenn D. Walls, Greg D. Walls, Guy D. Walls, Gail D. Walls, & Garey D. Walls; Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is also survived two brothers: Howard Buff and his wife, Doris, and Charles Buff and his wife, Judy.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 4pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.
