Nelma Thrasher BruderMay 7, 1926 ~ May 13, 2010Mrs. Nelma Thrasher Bruder, 84, of Hazel Green passed away at her home on Thursday. She was born to the late Edgar and Jean Riley Thrasher and was of the Carter's Grove community.She was preceded in death by her son, Daryl Keith Bruder.Survivors include her four sons, Danny Bruder and his wife Marty, Ronnie Bruder and his wife Earline, Greg Bruder and his wife Melinda, Brent Bruder and his wife Debbie; one daughter, Gwen Hereford and her husband Tom; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren who knew her as Mombo.Mombo was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother. To her - family meant everything.Visitation is Friday 5 to 8 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The funeral service is Saturday 2 PM at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harold Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
