Mr. Powell is survived by his wife, Lorene Worley Powell and a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends. He was the son of Willie C. and Gertrude Powell of Hazel Green. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2pm at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Don Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery.Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
