Patti Ann Presnell Carter

Patti Ann Carter (58), with her children by her side, left this world on September 4, 2017. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Anthony Gantt Carter, Sr and both of her parents, Leo and Rebecca Presnell.

She left behind many loving family members; Her children, Gantt Carter and his wife Julie of Elk City, OK; Rebecca Carter of Cordell, Ok; and Daniel Carter of Cordell, Ok; her siblings, Leo Presnell, Jr and his wife Brenda of Athens, AL; Penny Gibson and husband Stanley of Huntsville, AL; and Pam Hicks and her husband Alan of Athens, AL; her two grandchildren, Rose and Jedidiah Carter and 6 nieces and nephews.

Patti's chief aim in life was the glory of God. A diligent Bible scholar and teacher, she truly enjoyed Biblical discussion. Spending time with her family delighted her heart so much. Holding, rocking, singing to, and reading to her grandchildren became one of her top pleasures in this life. She always enjoyed reading, writing, board/card games, and sight-seeing. She now rests from her labors, awaiting the Savior on that resurrection day.

Memorial services will be conducted Friday 2PM at the Plainview Church of Christ with Bro. Richard McWilliams officiating. Hazel Green Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
