Phillip D, Boyett

Mr. Phillip D. Boyett, 67, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Friday.

He had retired from Amana/Goodman after 43 years of service, and was a volunteer firefighter with Hazel Green Volunteer Fire Department.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and his family's hunting dogs.   Phillip was a caring person and was always willing to help others who needed him.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Kaye Boyett;  His parents, Tom and Laura Boyett;  His brother, Richard Boyett;  His sister, Carolyn Bond;  His niece, Amanda Jones.

Surviving family members include:

His son and daughter-in-law, Tommy & Bonnie Boyett.

His son, Steven Boyett

His grandchildren: Rachel Boyett, Dustin Boyett, Rhonda Boyett, Thomas Kole Boyett, Jacob Boyett, Katie Spray, and Nathan Houser.

His sisters-in-law, Jean Brand, Barbara McNeal, and Janice Jones.

He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2pm at the funeral home with Bishop Harold St.Clair and Pastor Johnny Clardy officiating.   Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery.
