Phillip Wayne Moyers

Mr. Phillip Wayne Moyers passed away on January 8, 2021.

He is survived by his children: Terrie Summers, Clifford Moyers; Brother: Ralph Moyers; Grandchildren: Justin Summers, Joshua Summers, Michael McGrath, Megan McGrath; Great Grandchildren: Trystan Fox and Averie Fox.  He is also survived by a nephew, niece, along with many family and friends.  Mr. Moyers was preceded in death by his daughter: Lezley Moyers Gutierrez.

His greatest love was the Word of God and the gospel.  Many people came to know Christ as he shared with them.  He was a beloved pastor for many years.  He was the founder of Soldiers for Christ ministry and was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.

There will be a memorial service Friday, January 15, 2021, 12:00 P.M., at Lakewood Baptist Church.
