Phyllis Kay Rozell
April 5, 1953 — March 22, 2023
Phyllis Kay Rozell left this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday.
Kay was a special angel sent into our world by the Lord and she blessed those around her for 69 years. She had the heart of a child and loved to laugh. Her favorite thing was to tear up paper, throw it on the floor, and then laugh as she watched others pick it up.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira & Ozellar Rozell, and by her siblings, Harlis Rozell, Reba Sanderson, and Charles Rozell.
She leaves behind her siblings, Lawrence Rozell, Jean Hinshaw, Nell Killinghausen, Carol Guthrie, Mary Klinner, and Kathy Taherpour.
Funeral services will be Saturday at Noon at Hazel Green Funeral Home with Pastor Terrell Boyd and Shannon McKee speaking. The family will receive friends at 11am. Burial will be in Briar Fork Cemetery following the service.
Kay will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of her family and all those around her.
