Remembering a Life
Randall Bob Howard, aged 63 of Lynchburg, TN left this life surrounded by loved ones, at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN.
Born to Bobbie Jean & H.B. Howard in Jackson, TN on March 30th, 1959, he was the second oldest of eight children.  Randy is preceded in death by his father H.B. Howard, his brother Harlon Howard, and his beloved wife Paula Howard.

Randy is survived by his mother Bobbie Jean Howard, his children Amanda (Ryan) Blunden, Andrew (Logan) Howard, and Jason (Jessica) Howard.  He is also survived by siblings Hanley (Lisa) Howard, Arthur Hollis Howard, Haskell (Amy) Howard, Lola Miller, Homer Howard, & Laura Howard Hatmaker.  There are cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, as well as many life-long friends that will also keep him in memory.

Randy joined the Navy in 1977 and was stationed on the USS Seattle.  After his time in the Navy, Randy served in the National Guard from 1985-2004 deploying in Operation Desert Shield/ Operation Desert Storm with the 251st Combat Support Company, as well as again in Operation Enduring Freedom with the 1175th Transportation Company.  In the time between deployments, he worked at the Pepper Patch, Jack Daniel's, as a farm hand for Doc & Helen Lusty, Miss Mary Bobo's, a Moore Co. school bus driver, retired after 20 years from George Dickel, then worked as ground Maintenance of Barton Springs Campground.

He will be remembered by many people for different reasons.  We will remember his hard-working nature, the way he would do anything he could for us, and his absolute love of all things mechanical and musical.  His honesty, loyalty and love to his friends and family, and strength will all be missed.  He was a great man who was loved greatly.
