Randi Harbin Sharpe, 45, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday while surrounded by her loving family. She was a faithful Christian and a member of Life Church Huntsville.
Randi will be remembered by those she touched in life for her faith in Christ and for her strength, determination, and willingness to fight in everything that she did. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, and was always a good friend. She always had a contagious smile, no matter what, never met a stranger, and made everyone feel loved and welcomed. As a true sports fanatic, she especially loved watching her children play sports.
Because of the love she shared with her family and all those in her life, her memory will live on in the hearts of others forever.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Nancy Miller Harbin; Her grandfather, Freddie Lee Harbin; Her grandparents, James Calvin & Virginia Marie Malone; Her cousin, Paula Rigsby; Her cousin, Drew Newberry, and by many aunts and uncles who have passed.
Surviving family members include her husband, Wade Sharpe; Her daughters, Kayla (Dom) Jones, Abbi (Dawson) Hardin, Sydney (Isaac) Sharpe; Her sons, John David (Bailee) Sharpe and Nicholas Sharpe. Her grandson, Paxton Jones; Her parents, Terry & Peggy Harbin; Her sister, Tonya Harbin; Her mother-in-law, Kay (Raymond) McElhaney. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10am until 1pm at Life Church Huntsville. A Celebration of Life and time of worship will follow at 1pm with Pastor Kevin McGlamery and Pastor Amy McGlamery officiating.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 3 at Noon at Gurley City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chase Smart, Nathan Jenkins, Dom Jones, Dawson Hardin, Phillip Rigsby, and Bobby Newby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Randi Sharpe Memorial Fund to support Nick's future academic and recreational endeavors.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. - 1 Timothy 4:7-8
