Rebecca Anne Dillard

Our beautiful mom, Rebecca Anne Dillard, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 17, 2021.  She succumbed to COPD after battling it for many years.   She left the world peacefully, in her sleep, with family and friends by her side.

Growing up, we were lucky to have our mom at home with us.  She could have been anything she wanted but she was great at being a mom.  She may have birthed only five kids but our whole childhood was full of kids that cared about her the way we did.  She was definitely the coolest mom ever.

After her boys started growing up, she decided to purse a career in cometology.  She loved cutting hair because she got to talk to anyone and everyone.   She was definitely a people person. If you were her friend, you had nothing to worry about because if you needed something, she would find a way to help anyway she could.

Our mom had a lot of friends and loved each and every one of them.  Her fight is now over and we feel good knowing she left such an impact on so many life – not just the lives of her sons.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Doyle Dillard, her mom, Bettye Sue Jackson, her sister, Cindy Dassow, and her brother, Howard and Steve Dillard.

She leaves behind her children, Davy, Tyler, Donald, Clayton, and Caleb;  Her grandchildren, Kailea, Layla, Cheyanne, Zadie, Cason, Raelynn, and Eli;  Her beautiful daughters-in-law; Krystal, Monica, Sadie, and Amberly.

In lieu of donations, please send flowers to 136 Larkin Street; New Market, Al  35761 where a celebration of life gathering will be held on May 1, 2021 at Noon.
