Rickie L. Miller

Mr. Rickie L. Miller, 57, of Hazel Green, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Saturday.  He was born to Ray and Doreen McNeal Miller in 1958 and lived in various places as part of a military family.  His life-long dream was to be in the trucking business and to own his own truck.   He accomplished this goal and had been in the trucking business until his sudden death on December 19, 2015.   On August 10, 2011, he married the love of his life and had since experienced the happiest times of his life, together, with his wife, Shawana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Shawana Miller;  His mom, Doreen McNeal Miller;  His brothers, Billy Miller & Steve Miller; His sisters, Paula (Michael) Wright, Kathy Hall, Marsha Anderson, and Martha Powell;  His son, Jesse (Amanda) Childress;  His grandson, Aiden Childress;  Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

At Rickie's request, the family will have a private celebration of his life.
