Robert "Bobby" A. Walker
February 3, 1932 — July 22, 2018
Robert A. “Bobby” Walker went home to be with the Lord July 22, 2018 at Floyd "Tutt" Fan Nursing Center. He was born in Madison County, Alabama. He retired from the Huntsville Times after 40 Years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Katherine Hall Walker, his daughter Teressa Beasley, son LT Col Robert Kent Walker (Shawna), daughter Tanya Parsons (Chris), Grandchildren Megan Edwards (Jeremy), Andrew Walker, Katherine Walker, Devin Beasley, Nathaniel Walker, Jessica Walker, Alexa Parsons, Great-grandchild, Walker Edwards, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Almon “Dude” Walker and Vera Mae Lanier Walker, brother Billy Joe Walker, sister Betty Jean Lamb.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 126 Douglas Road, Huntsville, Al from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2018 with funeral following at 1:00 PM officiated by LT Col Robert Kent Walker.
Burial will follow in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
