Roberto Enrique Abiseid
February 21, 1929 — February 22, 2017
Mr. Roberto Enrique Abiseid, age 88, born in Oriente, Cuba and a resident of Madison, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital Main.
He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He loved sports, especially baseball. He loved fixing things and doing creative hobbies around the house. He valued hard work, honesty, and was a loving man, respected others, very kind. He protected the ones he loved.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Isabel Abiseid. By his father Francisco Abiseid, and mother Maria Yaber Abiseid, his brother Mario Abiseid, and his sister Olga Abiseid.
Surviving family members include his son, Jose E. Abiseid, M.D. from Clinton, Arkansas. His daughter Isabel M. Abiseid, from Madison, AL. And son and daughter in law, Robert E. and Ana Abiseid, from Miami, Florida. His grandchildren, Victor, Jose (Tito), Cira, Caitlin, and Robert. He also was survived by 5 great- grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1055 Hughes Road, Madison, Alabama 35758, at 11:00 on Saturday. His final resting place will be in Clinton, Arkansas, next to his loving wife.
