Robyn (Johnson) Griffin

Robyn Griffin (Johnson), 53, long time resident of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on January 21, 2025. Born June 25, 1971, Robyn was a fiercely loving mother, nana, wife, sister, and daughter.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Griffin; her daughters, Amber Troupe (husband Tyler Nafe) and Arynn Troupe; her grandchildren, Levon Linde, KatieRaye Linde, Charlie Nafe, and Riley Nafe; her sister, Rinda Smith; her brother, Phillip Scott (wife Crystal) Howard; and nieces, Dany (husband John) Rafanelli and Eloise Rafanelli.

Robyn was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Robert Johnson and her sister, Georgette Renne Crews

A woman who family meant all too, Robyn could always be found spending time with or sharing stories of her loved ones. She spent her life dedicated to raising her two daughters and showed them what it meant to be a strong, hard-working woman. She created a home of comfort and love for her and her husband. She fostered meaningful and beautiful relationships with her grandchildren, siblings, and all other family members. To know her, was to know what it meant to be loved. Everything she did, Robyn did with her whole heart.

Robyn had a gift of spreading happiness in any room she entered. She could be found laughing with strangers at the beach, spending time with her best friends at a Mexican restaurant, loving on her kitties, and hosting family dinners, all with a smile on her face. Robyn could bring people together and make them feel like they belonged.

A creative soul to her core, Robyn spent her time on numerous projects including knitted goods, sublimation, taking care of her multitude of plants, designing a Harry Potter themed bathroom, and much more. The only thing she enjoyed more than displaying her creative visions was her family.

Robyn was a fierce defender of those she cared for and will be terribly missed by her loved ones.

A Celebration of Life for Robyn will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 1pm until 4pm at Oak Place; 808 Maysville Road NE; Huntsville, Alabama 35801. The family kindly asks you to wear purple.
