Roger Dale Gentle

Roger Gentle, 70, of Hazel Green, passed away on Thursday.

He had retired from the City of Huntsville and had also worked at Quillen Produce and at Dean and Son Plumbing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Gentle and by his parents, Thomas and Katherine Gentle.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Gentle;  By his grandchildren: Courtney Gentle, Stephanie Gentle, Abby Gentle, Breanna Gentle, Kenzi Gentle;  His great-grandson, Harlee Tate; His sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jerry Boyd.  He is also survived by many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at the funeral home with Rev. Eddie Lones officiating.  Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.
