Ruby (Franklin) Boggs
December 11, 1923 — February 24, 2019
Ruby Franklin Boggs, age 96, went home to be with her Saviour and family on Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was Born December 11, 1923. At the end of World War II, she married her love, Lemuel Boggs and remained faithfully married for 76 years. Ruby retired after working many years at Chrysler Corporation in Huntsville, AL..
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Lemuel E. Boggs, Sr, her parents Bessie Raby Franklin and James Franklin and brother Joe Franklin. She is survived by her sister, Jean Spray and her only son, Lemuel E. Boggs, Jr. and his wife Jeana Sowell Boggs, grandchildren Lemuel Andrew Boggs and wife Melissa Boersma Boggs; Leighton Aaron Boggs and wife Lindsey Cope Boggs and great grandchildren Colton, Jamison, Jayce and Dalen.
Pallbearers will be: Landry Boggs, Leighton Boggs, Thom Tingle, Brett Milde, Matthew Spray, Stuart Spray and Austin Tingle.
Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019, at University Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL. Services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Bro. Bobby Burt and Bro. Steve Spray officiating.
Burial will follow at the Christmas Section of Memory Gardens in Huntsville, AL. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
