Scott Morgan

Scott Morgan, 30, of Hazel Green, born in Texarkana, TX on Feb 8, 1986 at Wadley Regional Medical Center, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 29, 2016.  He was a 2004 graduate of Hazel Green High School where he played for four years on the Trojan Baseball team and was a Christian and member of Hazel Green United Methodist Church.   Scott was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves, and Duke Basketball, and he enjoyed the Bonaroo Music Festival every year.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Coy Hugh Veazey and Ernest L. Morgan Sr. and by his grandmothers who were very special to him, Frances Veazey and Bobbye Morgan.

Scott is survived by his parents, Ernie and Wanda Morgan;  His brother, Jason Morgan and his wife, Lindsey;  3 nephews, Wyatt, Dallas, and Carter Morgan;  1 niece, Alivia Morgan;  He is also survived by Buster, his Boston Terrier.

The family will receive friends at 1pm on Saturday at Hazel Green United Methodist Church.
