Sheila P. Moore
March 26, 1953 — January 1, 2015
Sheila P. Moore, 61, of New Market, passed away on Thursday. She was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, friend, and was loved by all. She will always be known for her courage,strength and endless perseverance. She never complained, never gave up, and always met each day with a positive spirit. Her outlook on life was truly amazing.
Ms. Moore had retired from Marshall Space Flight Center after 25 years of employment. She was an active member in the community, supporter of local cancer awareness walks and served as chief polling officer for the elections. She devoted her time to family and found the most joy with being with her grand kids. They were truly her greatest love.
She was preceded in death by her father, Grayson Pitcock; Her sister, Sherlyn Pitcock Burks;
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Andy Boseck; Her son and daughter-in-law, Kory and Jennifer Moore; Her mother, Evelyn Pitcock; Her grandchildren: Kendall Moore, Jackson Moore, Clayton Moore, Cade Boseck, Brooke Boseck, Luke Boseck, and Aubrey Boseck;
The family will receive friends on Sunday beginning at 12:30pm at the Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in New Market.
