Sherrie (Humphrey) Lanford

Sherrie H. Lanford of New Market passed away on Monday.  She was 65.  She was employed for more than 27 years at National Scale Technologies and was looking forward to retiring soon.   She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she enjoyed her trips to Tunica.

Surviving family members include her husband of 47 years, Andy Lanford;   Her daughters:  Brittney Lanford (Dustin)  and Heather Fox (Jesse);  Her grandkids, Aaron, Kaylan, Jojo, and Trevor.  4 great-grandchildren;  her sister, Cathy Solway;  Her sisters-in-law: Debo, Marty, and Robin;  her brothers-in-law, Lenny and Jamie; her nephews: Curly and Michael.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannette Groce Coke and by her brother-in-law, Kerry Solway.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12pm until 2pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama.
